they are together in 1911 and appear not to have had children

the one in the workhouse in 1871 appears to be 'our' Henry

but what Yvonne is saying is that Georgina Delderfield Taylor, the mother of Florence M H Taylor 1921, had a daughter 'Carry Delderfield' who married Henry Delderfield, which makes no sense


bottom of page 1 from PM yvonne sent:

'I have found georgina delderfield - my grandmothers name - she had a daughter *THIS MUST MEAN 'MOTHER' NOT 'DAUGHTER' - Carry delderfield - married henry delderfield - I need Carry's parents names'


of course what yvonne said near the top of page 2 makes less sense:

'I have found carrie born 1985 atwillesden - husband henry delderfield - children - henry,ernest,georgina - I want carries parents names so that I can trace back.'


so in fact, the 1901 census says

and if you could please just try to make sure that what you say makes sense ... Carry was Georgina's mother NOT daughter, nobody was born in 1985 or 1895 ...


looking at the age differences in the children - one aged 16, then two aged 3 and 1 - it looks very likely that Carry was Ernest's second partner and they were probably not married
