Hi Prickles
Ellen Kate's mother was Alice Mouser, as yet I haven't found her parents.

Hi Marilyn

Thank you for replying on here.

There are two possibilities that I can see for the parents of Alice.

One is the Alice with parents John and Elizabeth from the 1881 census I posted earlier.

There is also this Alice......

Births Jun 1872 (>99%)
MOUSER Alice Crickmer Blything 4a 724

This Alice appears as Alice "Crickmore" on the 1881 census with parents Henry and Naomi.

A transcription error as it should read "Crickmer"

Alice was born before her parents marriage......

Marriages Dec 1872 (>99%)
Crickmer Henry Blything 4a 1561
Mouser Naomi Blything 4a 1561

As I posted earlier.......I think the only way to be certain would be to purchase a copy of the marriage cert.

The best place to purchase certs is online here......

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Ellen's mother was Alice Mouser, I am not sure but I think her parents were John Mouser and Elizabeth. I don't know Elizabeth's maiden name. I found her in the 1881 census also.
