Find Ancestors

I'm trying to trace this family for a friend the only thing I know are:

John Edwin G Veale (age undetermined estimated 1884t to 1894) married Iris Mildred L Haskett in 1927 at Shepton Mallet Somerset his father (details taken from marriage certificate) William Veale, occupation given as Gentleman

I've researched several trees for different people, but have to admit this one has got me beat.

Any pointers at all would be appreciated.

John E Veale @ 1883 died 1951.
Iris born 1902-1983 married again 1953.

I don't know, on the 1891 John E G Veale appears as " cab't upholsterers apprentice, which would seem to tie in possibly with cabinet maker on the travel records?

How do you not know his age if you have the marriage certificate?

What was his occupation and address?

Who were the witnesses?

Perhaps the marriage certificate just said "full age".

It may help to know if he was single, widowed or divorced.

I thought by 1927 they'd got out of that habit!

Anyway, the NZ one, the carpet planner, married isabella Robinson in 1917, was on electoral rolls until 1935 and died in 1938 in NZ.
