Just to say I have found the Marriage Transcript of Joseph Sheppard and Sarah Poole 1847 Nottingham

It states that Joseph Sheppard Father is Thomas Sheppard
Sarah Poole Father is John Poole
I looked for the Baptism of thier Children but no luck

This was at the Local Library

I looked at St Pauls Church Nottingham where thier Mother and Father were married
but couldn't find them

Hi Olive, the transcription above is the whole thing- there are no other details included, it is just listed under the marriages section in the Nottingham Guardian. It was found searching the British Newspaper Archive.
