I have all the information above, if anyone wants to delete anything. Peter Alan French is no longer with us. But I am not sure about the other two.

As long as Peter had made a note of the children's dob, might it be a good idea to edit the exact details off? One would hope that they are still living. Although Michael might be drawing his OAP, the other 2 could still be of working age.

Thanks for all the help. I have sent for the marriage certificate for Reginald French and Marjorie Traynor.

My Uncle told me years ago that he believed Marjorie had at least one son with a middle name Alan.

Master P.A sent by alviegal is Peter Alan French. So heres hoping.

With Mrs M born 3/04/23, Master M.B , Master P.A and Master C.P . Address in UK was 39 Willow Way, Hatfield, Herts. They intended to live in S Rhodesia.


EDIT Have deleted birth dates of the children.

Think the reason I discounted French and Horrocks is because I believe the lived mainly in the UK and Marjorie emigrated to South Africa only visiting the UK once to my knowledge. So I believe with no certainty she may have had children and died there.

PrickHolly it is a possibility as her two sisters did not have middle names on their birth certificates.

Dea I looked at French but for some reason discounted it and now I cant remember why. will revisit it maybe send for another marriage certificate. pity we cant access the information on line yet.

Do take into consideration that even though her birth was registered with no middle initial......there is the possibility that she was given a middle name when baptised.

What do you think of the South Africa connection above?

PatinCyprus and Dea thanks for helping did think she might use the surname Traynor and have tried all the options as well as the ones you mentioned without Success. Even tried immigration records but again without success.

If i had any hair i would be pulling it out. :-(

Sorry forgot to say she has no middle name.

I think I have purchased all marriage certificates with her name on but non list the parents I know she has.

Her mother was Doris Maria Dyer born 1901, her father is in dispute either Edward Traynor born 1885 or Joseph Blackshaw. There is no father's name on the birth certificate. But Dyer was married to Joseph Blackshaw but lived with Edward Traynor having left Blackshaw although they were never divorced.
