As Potty points out that one of Rebecca's witnesses on 1833 marriage is Sarah Harper, then that would look to be one of the siblings in the list I posted earlier.
All looking good.

Death looks good to me. That is probably why she didn't put father's name down on the birth record of son Robert.

All seems to fit nicely, but how sad. Married March 1826, widowed in September 1826 and son born in the December.
Maybe she said she was spinster when she remarried because she had only been married for a few months.

If the death is correct then this would be a likely candidate for his birth:-

Robert Massey
England Births and Christenings
Name Robert Massey
Gender Male
Christening Date 05 Sep 1803
Christening Place KIRKBY OVERBLOW,YORK,ENGLAND
Father's Name Wm. Massey
Mother's Name Ann

Potty

Potty Report 23 Oct 2015 13:02

This could be Robert's death:

Name:Robert Massey
Death Age:23
Birth Year:abt 1803
Burial Date:13 Sep 1826
Parish:Kirkby Overblow, Yorkshire, England

On the image, he is a Cordwainer, of Weton in the Parish of Harewood.

The image of Robert junior's baptism does not give a father's name, just son of Rebecca Massey of Weeton.

Potty

Potty Report 23 Oct 2015 12:39

Ancestry also has an image of the 1826 marriage - Rebecca's first name in her signature looks identical - both times she spells it Rebeck and the capital R is quite distinctive.

I wonder why she is described as Spinster and not Widow?

Potty

Potty Report 23 Oct 2015 12:32

Ancestry has an image of the 1833 marriage - Rebecca is shown as a Spinster. Both are said to be of Chapel Allerton; witnesses: John Holmes & Sarah Harper.

Potty

Potty Report 23 Oct 2015 12:23

One way to confirm that the Rebecca married to John Busfield was nee Harper would be to get the birth cert for the baby Rebecca on the 1841 - she died the next year:

Births Mar 1841
BUSFIELD Rebecca Otley 23 485

Deaths Dec 1842
BUSFIELD Rebecca Otley 23 312
