In 1861 I'm trying to Trace a family Andrew Hardy/Hardie b. 1830 wife Marion b. 1829. Scotland, possible children with them William, Thomas, margaret, Marion. may be old monkland, Lanarkshire. Scotland. I have them on 1871 in durham, england with only 4 children william, Thomas, James and Jane. andrew, marion James and Jane/jennie emigrated to America between 1871-1880. Not sure what happened to rest of family? I have not discovered Andrew Hardie or Marion Brooks(by) on 1851 yet either. Thanks Cheryl

Thanks Marion Brooks/ Brooksby is daughter of Robert Brooksby and Margaret Drummond I have never found a Baptism for her. Not helping with all the family going back and forwards from brooksby to Brooks!! Cheryl

The "birth" record I posted for Marion (Mary Ann Brooksby) will actually be her christening - it's an old parish record, not a birth cert.
