Hi again.
I am convinced! Nothing else makes sense.
Brilliant research, and lots of thinking 'outside the box', as they say.
Thank you SO much everyone for all your efforts, where would I be without you!
Very grateful.

Good morning everyone. Firstly, a big thank-you for all your work, and for the suggestions.

Firstly, I think the death looks pretty likely, thanks RRose.

Jude, I had noted the 'daughter' Ann in 1901, was saving that for later, but you beat me to it! However, she does seem to be the key, thanks to someone for finding her 1891 - I am losing track a bit regarding who did what!

John's birthplace is compelling isn't it.

It does look like Kate might well be Florence Amelia, though I do have a niggle or two. Why change her names so much? And why the Wolverhampton birthplace if she was born in Bloxwich, quite a different place? I shall probably never know!

I can't find John and Mary Booth together as siblings either, but putting everything together, the John in Bloxwich must really be her father I think.

Much appreciated everyone.

And in 1881 john's occupation is coal miner which matches the marriage cert. wonder why she claimed to be 22 at marriage?

Mary

Mary Report 5 Oct 2015 22:45

1901 with daughter Annie, looks like she was born before marriage
1891 Anna Booth with parents of Florence A Booth John and Lydia
John Booth was brother to Mary Booth the witness to James E Myatt wedding
So 1911 is correct as there was no children to the marriage as Annie born before

It certainly looks like Kate was Florence Amelia Booth

There is a Kate A Booth registered in Dudley in 1866.

It is always possible that the birth wasn't registered, like several of my ancestors! Very inconsiderate of them!! :-|
