They certainly took their time baptising the children!

Both baptisms have the same address as the 1841 census. Father is a 'coal whipper'

(PM received also)

the william in the reported robbery is from a different family he was born in 1834 my William was born in 1841

Tony

Chris :)

Hmm... seems a bit odd somewhere!, have seen many a Marriage Cert. with Father named, although 'Deceased' not added.

(Marriage on Ancestry, London also)

Gee

Gee Report 4 Aug 2015 09:24

My thoughts too Chris

Tony, the fact that his father was not listed as deceased does not mean he was living

In fact the other way around applies too. My uncles father 'was' listed as deceased on his marriage certificate and in fact he was very much alive and kicking!

Tony (Anthony)

Tony (Anthony) Report 4 Aug 2015 10:13

How can I check this I am trying to find him on the census records after 1841
Tony

Gee

Gee Report 4 Aug 2015 10:30

Tony

You would need to buy the death certificate (1849) for Thomas

The informant would likely be a family member
