Karen

I am wondering if he was Joseph William Morris. There is one on the 1911 census correct age in Ruabon Wrexham.

We know nothing about Jo Morris, just phoned the only living relative on mum's side and he said Margaret remarried someone Vernon, not sure if that was his christian or surname.

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 7 Jun 2015 14:31

I can't find any sign of them on immigration records. Do you suppose they used false names?

Hi Shirley. I only know he was Jo not sure what it was short for. They ran away together as he was married and she was pregnant. Her mother visited her in 1930 and my Mum and grandmother visited her in 1935.
