Using the llink mgnv gives there is a weird entry for a Mary Beart......Cornish !!!

Wonder if the father is Fred J or Fred T this time !

Just looking at the death of Beatrice. It said she died of marasmus. I had to google it, it's severe malnutrition.

Found a Public Tree on Ancestry with Joseph Cornish born 1911 died 1984

Has his parents as John Thomas Cornish and Mary Jane Beardwood marrying 05 February 1908 West Toronto but nothing else on them

The 1911 birth of Joseph says that the parents were married 5 Feb. 1908, West Toronto.

Would Frederick have needed his birth cetificate to marry ? in which case that would have been as Kimbrey

I cannot access the image of Joseph Cornish birth in 1911 in Toronto either-perhaps someone with Worldwide Ancestry can help ?

I expect the death of a Beatrice Cornish in 1909 with father Frederick and mother Mary Jane Beardwood which AnnCardiff posted will be the clue

[It shows Fredk J Kimbrey traveeling on the same ticket as another Labr, also from Berkshire, and a Carpenter from Midx. All 3 are in their early 20s and bound for Montreal.]

It seems odd for him to arrive as Kimbrey and marry as Cornish.
I've not seen Jos Cornish's b.cert, but Ancestry says dad Fred's mid-name is Thos - but I don't fully trust Ancestry transcriptions.

but I didn't see any hits I thought likely - it would certainly help if Joseph's birth record gave Mary's maiden surname.

The 1891 entry is the Abingdon Workhouse where Frederck is with his mother Sarah and sister Lottie May born 1880-the father died in 1888-not sure why I could not find him in 1901 !
