Hello everyone, I'm having some real trouble trying to find one of my ancestors! Her name is Catherine Johnson, I belive she was born in jarrow, Durham in 1876 she married Edward smith and had a child Anthony smith in 1917. I'm looking for Catherine's parents, would anyone be able to help please?

Interesting just found that her middle name was Elizabeth, I found a women called Eliza Johnson possibly her mother? There's so many Catherine Johnsons it's hard to tell! Thanks for the info though guys!

Yeah I think that's them, Thomas Johnson was born in Ireland!

Were you previously aware that Catherine's father was born in Ireland?

I still think it would be a good idea to get Catherine's marriage certificate to make sure we have the correct family. I would also buy her birth certificate to find out her mother's maiden surname. If you had that, you would then maybe find a marriage for her parents. That would hopefully give you the name and occupation of Thomas and Margaret's fathers.
