Next to William Muzzall on charge sheet is George Thomas. (i.e. Thomas is the surname)

I suggest you try the 'WA State Library' (on-line) -it has an 'Ask a Librarian' service -they will check their many records -including those of the (close-by) 'State Records Office'.

To Mike,tyes Thomas is my tree,but as I say,where did he disappear to after his certificate of release dated 1856?.I can not even find Muzzall after his trial,,there is a Thomas George young d.1896 Parramatta with the right parents names Thomas and Sarah reg.no.3587,but who knows? -----hi! Valerie ,yes that is also correct,it was written down wrong ,kind regards graham

He was a 26 year old clerk, single, 5 foot 4 and 3/4, brown hair and hazel eyes, oval face, fresh complexion and stout build. No scars or tattoos.

Perhaps he didn't stay in WA? No marriage or death that is a good match for him.

Thomas came up no problem, but there is no sign of William Muzzall, he's a real mystery? Maybe he died before leaving?

cant see him in any other census so it could be he was sent away

Some papers of the time have William Muzzall as William Murrell/all. He married an Ellen Voller in 1849 having previously been married to her sister, Caroline.


But he is Muzzall on his MC.

Sorry everyone,Thomas George young ,s parents were Thomas Footner Young and Mary (smith) Young it was his brother Richard b.1823 Bighton sussex who was married to a Sarah Denman regards Graham

Graham, if Thomas' parents were Thomas and Mary then why did you state earlier:-

So this isn't his baptism?
