Find Ancestors

In the 1901 Census there is a Ruth, Lilian, Eric and David Maxwell. This is in Forgan, Fife, Scotland. Their mother is Kate E Maxwell. It says the births of the children are in England.

The father does not appear on this census but I believe him to still be alive as Kate is under heading of wife not widow...

I can not seem to find proper dates of birth for Lilian. on the census it say she is 6 years old and born in 1895. I found one and sent for birth certificate but the mothers name on there is Elizabeth Sarah Maxwell and not Kate E....
I really do not want to spend anymore money on certificates unless I am sure.

Has anybody got these people in their family tree. It seems they are English but living in Scotland in 1901 at 153 Wormit Road in the parish of Forgan in Fife, Scotland.

Any help would be very much appreciated! :-D

Children's Bazaar.—A children's bazaar organised by four schoolgirls, Elaine Hopkins, Nellie Lawson, Rachaei Scroggie. and Lilian Maxwell, was held at Highfield, Wormit, the other afternoon. There were two stalls, one devoted to sweets and confections, and the other to general goods, mostly the work of the girls and their friends while afternoon tea was served to the visitors. The enterprise was entirely successful with the sum of about £4 being collected, which was forwarded to Comerton Home.

I actually have a friend who comes from Wormit. It is just a small village.
Comerton Home was a Convalescent Home for children from Dundee near Forgan.

The Directors of Dundee High School have received a legacy of £500 from the trustees of the late Mrs Kate E. Holmes or Maxwell, Westmount, Wormit, in memory of her son, David Kenneth Maxwell. Tho legacy is " to be dealt with by the directors in the form of a bursary in whatever method they may determine.
