Find Ancestors

Please help me find the marriage for this man. He married someone by the name of Anne Gertrude ?

Edward Patrick Hennessy was born in Paddington in 1906 and his parents were Lawrence Hennessy and Ellen Elizabeth Langford.

I have been unable to locate Edward Patrick Hennessy and Anne Gertrude marriage on FreBMD. Not sure whether they were catholic and that's why we cant find them. He was also in the Army so they could have married abroad.

They had a son Michael Patrick Hennessy born 1935 in Windsor. It says his mothers name was Cox ??? But we cant find a marriage between a Cox and Hennessy.

Please can someone help me find them.

Not likely to be him Yvonne as Jane says he was born 1906.

yes your right but cannot find a birth that would match army record only other was edward p born 1848 he would be too old

The reason I said 1906 was that was the only birth I could find for a Patrick Hennessy. I originally found him on the 1911 census.

That marriage is looking good to Anne G Cox. I didn't see that on FreeBMD.

Probably couldn't be found because of the different spelling of Hennessey rather than Hennessy.

According to the electoral roll they were living in Woolwich in 1937 and Westminister in 1939.

for that marriage information. I have just got back from my father in laws house where we had a look at his granddads certs and I got the marriage wrong. He did not marry Helen Langford as I first thought he married someone by the name of Ellen Steed.
