1891Longwood D13 > 25
Hannah Maria Cranien with parents John and Elizabeth Ann.

1891 longwood D13 >9
Fred Whitwam 1866 with grandparents
Joseph Morton and Sarah Morton.

This Fred is son of Alfred Whitwam 1838/9 and Eliza Morton 1847-1874.
Alfred then remarried Emma.

1871Scapegoat Hill
Alfred a Plasterer and Painter (same as Fred on 1911 census)
Eliza
Fred 4
Henry 9months.

Parents of Alfred Whitwam were John @ 1808 and Charlotte nee Beaumont.

Henry Whitwam brother to Fred married Abigail Hey born 1871 and had among others William Pogson Whitwam 1911 died 1912.

Abigail Hey parents were John Pogson and Emma Hey nee Gledhill.

So this Fred looks to be a likely contender for your Fred who married Hannah Maria in 1892.

it looks as though Cromien might be the correct spelling for Hannah Maria's surname ..............

this is the spelling on the Probate Record in 1924

and on his death registration ..............

Deaths Jun 1924 (>99%)

Cromien John 74 Huddersfield 9a 446

As Mary said, there is a man missing from the record of Hannah Maria's registration ..............

Marriages Dec 1892 (>99%)

Cromien Hannah Maria Huddersfield 9a 648

I think this might be Fred .................. with the page number mis-read.

I've looked at the image, and it looks as if it might be 648 rather than 618

Marriages Dec 1892 (>99%)

WHITWAM Fred Huddersfield 9a 618

Hannah Maria's maiden name will be on Sir Joseph's birth certificate ...........................

what is it?

If you don't have the actual certificate, I strongly suggest that you buy it.

Then you can order Hannah Maria and Fred's marriage certificate using ONLY Hannah Maria's name and information

In this instance, it's a forename, not a title

A friend has a boy named Doctor in her tree..........again , surprisingly, not uncommon
