i have my gr grandparents marriage for 18 january 1879 between john hutchinson and margaret graham it says age full margarets father was john william graham dec stain glassmaker i have margaret and john in census from 1891 living newcastle , says margaret born newcastle then 1901 gateshead says margaret newcastle, 1911 gateshead says margaret gateshead , margaret died in in 1931 age 83 living wolseley st gateshead this makes her birth 1848 , on there marriage witnesses are thomas graham and martha graham they were man and wife and martha was john hutchinsons sister i have searched census 1851 1861 1871 and can not find margaret with her parents or any sibblings the thomas graham which i have searched does not seem to be a sibbling i also cant find her in 1881 census when she was married can any one help find margaret with her parents

thank you i did find this family and even got the birth certificate for margaret 13 feb 1848 westgate newcastle it says father just as william painter and glazier and mother elizabeth hewison and the 2 census you have shown he is just william and margarets parents must of died between 1851 and 1861 and i cant find deaths for a john william graham but there are lots for just william , i aso found the marriage of william graham and elizabeth hewison and again just named as william

She is in the workhouse on the 1861 census. Perhaps if her mnother died William could'nt manage the children?

looks like Margaret's father was going by his middle name of William
in the 1841 & 1851 census down as a painter glazier wife Elizabeth.
also John William had a brother Robert who in turn had a son Thomas,
possible this was the witness her cousin

I can't seem to find the parents on the 1841 census.

Elizabeth whats the ref for the 1841 census please if you have found him on there.

i have william graham 1805 with parents william and isabella norton and william 1805 had other sibblings but cant seem to find a robert as one of his sibblings ,the witness to her wedding were thomas graham and martha graham [ hutchinson ] martha was john hutchinson sister and i have parents of thomas graham [ witness ] as james bewick graham 1826 and elizabeth rymer 1825

Right found them in 1841.

i have a marriage for william graham and elizabeth hewison 29 april 1827 with witness george tweedy and henry cockburn , looks likethe same as you found with a little difference as in heison and hewison

It may have been triscribed wrongly I suppose.

How about this?

They had naming patterns back in those days and William and Elizabeth seemed to have their parents names in their children.
