I wonder if anyone might be able to help because not only am I unable to find a marriage for an Anthony Prynn to a Louisa, I can't seem to find any other information about him after the 1881 census.

Prynn in sometimes transcribed as Prinn and Prin.

His Father was Thomas Prynn and Mother Mary Ann Olver. That is the correct 1871 census.

It states Mother Mary Ann Hover on the above record but I bet that is a spelling error and should read "Olver:

I have looked for a marriage between Anthony and Louisa using variations of the name "Prynn", but nothing shows up. So I am doubtful that he ever married Louisa.

I have also looked for a marriage for Anthony to Anna, but I have got nowhere with that one either.

At least two trees on Ancestry says Anna was Anna James, born 18 Sept 1859, died 30 April 1952.

Another says she was Anna Hannibal, born Sept 1859, Stepney, Middlesex, and died 1952, married Anthony Prynn 1882, died 1952 USA.

???? The only Anna James births for that time:

No sign of an Anna Hannibal born then.

I don't see an 1882 marriage, either - which would presumably have been in UK, if Anthony emigrated c.1885.


EDIT: the supposed DOB is nonsense - the birth record given as proof is for an Ann Prynn - clearly not the right person :

The 1900 US census, already posted above by Gritty, does say Anna was born Sept 1859, and that she married Anthony in 1882 - but she's not the one the trees say was born in Stepney.
