In the year 1901 Frederick George Smith (my gt grandfather) married Emily Agnes Oram. in Hackney ,London. They had 4 children, Alice ,Frederick ,Daisy and James.
In the 1911 census they are living Darlington rd, ( james was not yet born).
Frederick (gt grandfather) was killed in ww1 in 1916.
For some reason, emily used her mothers maiden name "Tipple" and was living at 8 Link street in Homerton ,london with her father Frederick Oram and her children.
I found this infoin the local electors 1920 - 1930.
In the 1930 Electors, she is still living at 8 link street but now married to George Webber. Her daughter Alice has married Alan Leslie Carroll and her eldest son, Frederick George Smith (my grandfather) all living at the same address.
Frederick married Gladys Rose Thompson ,(my grandmother) in 1933 living still at 8 link street.
What became of Emily and her husband George after this i don't know.
If any one out there has any knowledge or connections to this i would love to hear from you.

Have you looked for deaths?

To do so, you need to know when they were born...............and you haven't indicated that you do

Births Dec 1876 (>99%)
Oram Emily Agnes Islington 1b 371

You say that Emily was married to Webber.............when and where did they marry?

ER's do not indicate relationships

Unless you can find a marriage and get a copy of the cert, you have no way of knowing Webber's birth year

To find possible connections on this site, look for the names in search all member trees, which is found under the 'search' button

Could Emily have moved to the coast? The registration shows died aged 72.
1949-72 = 1877 but as the death was Q1 much more likely to have been born 1876. It's the only Emily A death

I've checked the ER's and Emily is with her husband and the Carroll family in 1930 but not showing after this
Her husband is still living with the Carroll's

I think this may well be Emily's death with a few years shaved off her age
