I don't think that's him arriving in US in 1906. His arrival states that he's single, a farmer from Whiteley Bay, England, going to join sister, Mrs Mary C. (can't make out surname, transcription says Cherry but I don't think that's it)

That 1891 I posted in the name of Tunstall is annoying me now as I think it is the right family but wrong surname on the census image.

Emily Turnbull can be found in 1881 with her grandparents but not yet found any trace of Nelly

Possible death for mother Eliza in 1888 in Chorlton reg dist.

OR am I just clutching at straws now.

GB - I think that you 'do' have the correct family on 1891 even though it says Turnstall on image.

They have a child Esther on there but there was not a birth for an Esther but there was for an Ethel and she was christened as an adult on 1907 at the same address as on the 1891 you have.....
