Registration of marriages in Ireland started in 1845 for Non-Catholic marriages and all marriages & births started in 1864, so you are going to need Parish records for Maureen's baptism and her parents marriage.

If the tree is correct, then eldest child was born in New Zealand:-

James Morrison
Birth 15 Sept 1867 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
Death 26 Mar 1922 in Waimate, Canterbury, New Zealand

.............so possible that the couple emmigrated just after the marriage????

I have a marriage certificate for John Morrison and Catherine Armstrong married 13 May 1867 in Omagh, County Tyrone. The age for both of them is "full". Their fathers names are James Morrison and John Armstrong. The witnesses are James Morrison and Rebecca Morrison - is this James' wife?

Thanks
Rose

Have you tried this one?

I've also used this one in the past:

although today I see that both Firefox and Internet Explorer are telling me the connection is untrusted, and are dissuading me from opening it.

Hello Rosemary, you could also give some details of who you're looking for and the timescale - someone might just be able to help you progress further.

I am looking for Ancestors in Northern Ireland but unfortunately I am struggling to find websites which I can look up.

My Ancestors come from Tyrone or Fermanagh and Enniskillen.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or just let me know whether it is worthwhile pursuing my research in Northern Ireland or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rose
