Hi
I'm trying to do my son's partners tree not given a lot to go off but I've got to 1849
I have a Matthew Ferrey born 1840 I think he had a twin Alice born Lesbury Northumberland.

Siblings were George 1834, Elizabeth 1837, Robert 1845, William 1848
as far as I can see their parents were John Ferrey .....? & Isabella 1807 Alnwick Northumberland,I have the 1851 census with Isabella and children and it says married to John Ferrey but he isn't there.

So I've got John Ferrey married to Isabella ???
& Matthew Ferrey married to Jane ??? 1911 census it says they have been married 16yrs
if anyone can do better than me in finding their marriages I would be very grateful

Re 1841 for John Ferry:
yes, as I said, he could be a butler.

All it says is that he's a Male Servant, but he's listed first of all the servants - don't know if that's any sign of rank.

Sylann

Sylann Report 30 Dec 2014 18:01

It could be him I'll have to give it a good looking at

Yes spotting the 1841 census was really good after seeing it I couldn't get it up without putting Feay instead of Ferrey

Thank you all for helping
