Hi - I ordered a copy of my great grandad's will ages ago from a site (Cannot remember which one) and it came and is detailed and stamped PROVED across it and a solicitors stamp. |

The only valid will is the last one made. Earlier ones become void. You can make a new will as often as you like. |

Yes I found it 1949 on Ancestry -but the other one I have came from another aoiurce (I will try nad find it again) its just odd its different. thanks. |

Might the entry you've found on Ancestry actually be the entry on to the Probate Calendar? |

Ahh -that makes sense -Yes I found it on Ancestry. I have a full page printed out that I paid about £6 for a number of years ago from somewhere I found online.It was sent to me in the post. Thanks that makes sense |
