I just though I would start by asking for some help on here, that's what I thought this community pages was for.

I'm sorry, Cara, but I just think that this whole thread is very suspicious.

I can't understand why Sir Benjamin, a multimillionaire, who already has a family tree going back to Alfred the Great would ask an amateur to carry out research for him.

So what exactly are you looking for? There's a wealth of information on the web.

You're not being paid for this research, are you?

As I said my cousin has asked my to do him a favour and this is his connection with Sir Benjamin. I am not after money and neither is he.

If you see the cast you will see that Sir Benjamin has a part.

There is nothing suspicious I can assure you I was just trying to do my cousin, Matthew John, a favour.

DEATH OF LADY SLADE
Mother of Mr Gandhi's Home Rule Convert
Lady Slade, whose death was announced yesterday, was the widow of Admiral Sir Edmond J Warre Slade and Mother of Miss Madeleine Slade, who six years ago joined the Indian Home Rule movement under Mr Gandhi.
She renounced her position in English society, learned to spin and weave, and allowed her black hair to be cropped close to her head.
After three years of study Miss Slade became a trained worker in Gandhi's 'refuge' and assumed the Indian name of Shrimati Mira Bai.
