	I have been searching high and low for the parents of Katherine without any success, She married Frederick Newman in Northampton in the March Quarter of 1896. In 1911 she appears in the census with Frederick and her children occupying "2 living Vans" (caravans) at the Victoria Grounds Wellingborough. Katherine describes herself as 36, born in Nottingham. The family's children are Alice Newman (Leicester 1901), Sarah Newman (Leicester 1904), Bridget Newman (Kettering 1907), Frederick Newman (Leicester 1909). I have been unable to find Katherine in any previous censuses. Her husband Frederick Newman appears in the 1881 census in Stony Stratford and in the 1891 census in Northampton. As they marry in Northampton it's safe to assume Katherine was living there during the 1890s. The Newman Family were travellers and Frederick's father Charles Newman (Harrold 1853) was also living on the Victoria Grounds site in 1911 and described himself as a general dealer. Can anyone find Katherine and her family? Thanks Richard
