[E A Mills - S(ingle) - Labourer - headed for Toronto to join brother]

Anyone can search 1921 (and see images), but only via:

I think the only feasible hit is:

How many live births did Annie say she'd had by 1911, and how many are still living?
I'm wondering which bro EA is going to join - could even be a bro-in-law, I suppose.
UK census was 2/4/1911 - Canada was 1st June 1911/16/21, so the brother might be on both 1911s.
There's 2556 Mills's in ON 1911, via a search at:
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/index.jsp

Gee

Gee Report 24 Oct 2014 14:29

Those passenger records are both after June 1911 so Ernest wouldn't be on, that's if we have the correct immigration record!

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 24 Oct 2014 15:06

Ernest was born in 1889.....not in 1888, making him no more than 22 in 1911

In 1911, his occupation was Baker's Assistant

Annie had given birth to 11, only 6 of whom survived, and all but one are on the 1911 with her

Two children's names crossed out are Henry and Gertrude (presumably deceased)

Do you have Ernest' full DOB, it might help trace him?

Edit: I wonder if he died at sea on the journey over to Canada, or he never went to Canada?

What makes you think he did?
