I checked this last night



Charles W Port died in 1917, in WW1


so I doubt that these are the parents of Reginald :-)

I guess I just assumed that anyone else looking would check to see if that marriage was really a possibility, as it was happened before WW1, and Reginald was not born until 1928 :-)

It was certainly a possibility. It was only 7 years earlier than the one added above

Someone very close to me was born in 1923 - his parents married in 1905

But, I got to the right record anyway - I hope ;-)

Of course, we don't actually know what Valerie is hoping for..............
