	On The 1911 they state 10 children born, 7 living, 3 have died. Although scored out, they very conveniently named the 3 that were married and not living at home. 	I would think that if you got a copy of the Bell birth cert, you'd find that the entry on the index is erroneous

	If you haven't found her birth, how did you determine that her mother's maiden name was Gleghorn (or Gelghorn as per your post)

	If she was registered as Bell maybe her mother married later to George Hancock.
