I have the wedding cert of June and George Mullan and their wedding photos. I also have June and George Watts wedding cert.
On June and George cert it states George is a bachelor and June as a widow.
Thanks for last bit of info about George Mullan. I did not know this info.
I have using free bmd but have not had much success of any info, I don't know what I am doing wrong

So it was your mother's commitments which prevented their marriage, not your father's.

I still think you need the 1970 marriage cert for info about George.

Scottish records are not easy to access, so if there were children of the marriage to Mullan, it may be difficult to find out

I've posted a lot of info about your father's family on your other thread.....you need to study it

Sorry my information is misleading. June married George Mullan at Headington, Oxford 05/10/1944 the went to live in Glasgow. So from 1944 to 1955 is a blank, don't know any thing. George my father was born in Headington, Oxford. he came from a large family who I have found out a lot from cousin's that I didn't know till I came to genes. I know his mother died when he was very young and he ended up in a orphanage and at some point he ran away he told us that. George and June have both passed away with their secrets. June was 18 when she married Mullan and 29 when I was born. June and George didn't marry till mullan passed away in 1970.

Corinne's use of the present tense is misleading, as both June and George (Watts from other thread) are deceased

I agree with Sylvia.

We need to wait for Corinne to return with a little more explanation as to what she knows and what she is looking for.

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Oct 2014 03:46

are we looking for living people or ancestors????

Remember .........

........ June at least could still be alive! She'd be approximately the same age as the Queen.

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 1 Oct 2014 23:05

Did her parents marry in 1912 Headington ? Possibly in 1926 in Headington

patchem

patchem Report 1 Oct 2014 23:04

Have you found her parents' names, and information about any siblings for her?

Did you have any contact with her - sorry, but you do not say why you do not know about her life before 1955.
