Find Ancestors

Hello,
I have decided to start working on my family tree again as I now have the time to do so. I have already got further than I thought I would with my Grandfathers side considering all I knew was his dads name.
Anyway my Grandfather was called Patrick Hart born 1929 and died 2006. He was Married to a Margret Bugg born 1933 and died 1997. They had two children Bruce Hart born 1958 and Stuart Hart born 1963.
My Grandfathers dad was called Alfred Hart born 1887 and died 1941 and he was married to Laura Bailey born c1891 and died c1968. They had two children - Alfred Hart born 1921 and died 2005 and Patrick Hart (My Grandfather)

So I have followed the Hart name, and I have managed to get up to 4x Great Grandfather of Patrick Hart who I believe is called Richard Hart born 1732 and died 1780. I believe he married Sarah Godbill born 1740 and died 1789.

I appreciate how far I have gotten already, but I'm now at a standstill, I'd really like to carry on exploring the Harts, and see how far back I can go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where was her husband born?

I can't see him in Lincs on any census, so it looks as though my suggestion about Lincs PR's is not valid
If we are to help to find the info you are asking for, we need to know where people were born

A tree on Ancestry has Richard Hart (1732-1780) with parents Richard Hart & Elizabeth Barton.

This tree says that he was married first to Mary Clements in 1746, aged 14 then married Sarah Godbill in 1763.

However, as with a lot of trees on Ancestry there seems to be mistakes. A son William Hart born 1763 listed under both wives and a John Hart born 1765 listed under first wife.

My Grandfather was Born in Lincolnshire
The Harts side are mostly known for being from either Lincolnshire or Cambridgeshire

Not exactly detailed info, gems.

According to the 41 census Sarah Sr. was 45, Sarah Jr. 20 and John 15 but take ... I believe his parents were Richard Hart and Sarah Godbill.

Chris one of those links you have sent has been really helpful, but it goes on and as it hit the 1500's our names change to the spelling of Harte. Which has really confused me now haha!

Not unusual to find name changes as you go back...

Don't confuse yourself too much, work back from present with Certs., and then you need Parish Records, remembering, not all are online!.

You really need the 1916 marriage certificate and then the birth that Chris has posted.

I cant see a death for the above Alfred in a similar area to the census, so things are pointing to the death in 1941
