I am trying to find the daughter of my 3x great grandmother from her first marriage, she was born 1844 but didn't go with her mother when she remarried , I have her on the 1851 census living with her grandfather Richard Cule at Hendry LLanishen Cardiff, then in 1861 still with her grandparents but living at Maes Y Berllan Llanishen Cardiff this time her name is spelt as Doil after that I don't seem to be able to find any record of her. by 1871 her mother Margaret Cule/Doyle/ Williams has left Cardiff and has moved to Montgomeryshire with her husband Ephraim Williams where they both died before 1881, would be grateful for any help in any more sightings of her. Many thanks Pam |

by the way Pam, coincidence today - been to a family funeral for one of my Llanishen rellies and when I got home I have a message on my phone from a Llanishn historian who is looking into WW1 names on the war memorial - one of whom is my great uncle - I'll ask him if he has any info on your quest :-) |

Thanks everyone and thanks Ann for passing on the quest, I have got quite a lot of information about the Cule's curtesy of a Cule family member a a book called "a step back in time" which takes the family back to approx 1735. I was speaking to another family searcher about the book and we said how sad that she didn't go with her mother who went on to have several more children with Ephraim Williams having lost her father Michael Doyle as a little girl and then her mother goes off to start a new life leaving her with her grandparents and after the death of her grandfather she seems to have disappeared. Many thanks to you all for helping pam :-D |

You are all STARS looks very promising, as soon as I've finished working and have got back from seeing the mother I will get all my info out and have a look, life's been a nightmare over the last few years so my family history has been pushed to one side but with things calming down I have been able to get back to it over the last few weeks and have loved every minute of it, also seeing what a wonderful lot all the guys and girls are on this site how you are always willing to help I realise now how much I've missed it all XXXXXXXX <3 |
