I'm looking for robert gill 1929 married my nana Barbara entwistle born 1930 in leeds roberts middle name is Reginald thats his dads name i can't find him on the census ? i no he died young think he killed him self any way of finding out more about him? he was a decorator by trade, i don't no if him and my nana divorced and he re married??she did maybe after he died

any help would be good

His birth, marriage and death certificates should all have his 'normal' address on them.

You could then check the historical electoral rolls at the nearest Archive or library which has a local studies centre. That will show other registered voters at the same address. They can't be searched by name and there was no ER taken during WW2 1939-1945.
You may not find the names of adult females until into the 1920's.

There is a Robert GILL in the birth index on freebmd with that mother's maiden name, but it was many years later......in 1940s.
