Hi I'm new to site and I'm looking for help I've deemed to have hit a wall in my tree. I can't find the parents of Henry Davies born abt 1847. I've got quite a lot from there but nothing earlier.... Please help I'd love to go beyond this .Fred Davies sunderland |

Fred, names mutate over the years and in order to get over your brick walls you have to investigate variants of the same name. A Davis could become a Davies and vice versa. |

Please, Fred, don't rule out people because of a slight difference in the way a name is recorded. |
