If this is his outward journey, his NOK address was 3 Upper Baker Street, so that is him returning in the1934 record above. |

Thanks so much for this info. The return journey in 1934 is definitely his as his home address was 3 Upper Baker Street. Maybe he returned because he couldn't find work. The birth above for Jun 1913, Farrer John Snowdon, is his. He didn't have a middle name but his mother's maiden name was Snowdon. |

On the 1930 arrival in Canada posted above, John was an office boy but intended doing land work. His passage had been paid by the government and his onward destination was the Church of England Boys Brassey Hostel, Indian Head, Sask. |

Thanks again ... it does indeed look like he was a home child. Both his parents died quite young and he and his siblings were taken in by an aunt. Yes, his mother was a Snowdon. |
