The problem is until recently we thought this family in a photo in Michigan were the Richards family. But it turns out that they are The Rozenberg family. The photo is of three men. ? father and two sons.
Our direct line is the Richards. The Rozenberg family married into the Richards family. Sampsons father Aaron was born in Germany. Arron was my husbands Gt Gt Grandfather.
Sorry that is all we know about the family.
Thanks for helping me

Jane, there are actually quite a few men of that name - that's why it's important you give us as much info as possible.
Given that the Samson on the 1901 was a tin miner then the 1910 & 1920 do seem likely.
Rule out the passenger lists with a Rebecca - that must be a different man. Yours was married to Mary on the 1901 and the wife is Mary on the 1910 & 1920.
The 1910 shows he immigrated 1893 but maybe that was his first trip then he went back for the family?

Hi
Thank you Ricochet, Gins and MarieCeleste. That information is looking good. We will make a note of that information .
The information on the 1901 census is our family.
The Sampson who sailed in 1904 was married to Rebecca. The one on the 1920 census was married to Mary. So did he remarry.
There can't be many people with a name like Sampson Rosenberg ?
Thanks again
Jane

Jane, could you tell us the background you have to Samson and how you connected to him? That way we have an idea as to how to approach this to find the correct records, rather than hypothetical.
The names of the ships are shown on the records.
