I have just found on the British newspapers, Kent and Sussex courier 29 Dec 1944, in his obituary that he was a veteran of the Boer war wondering if anything else is said after that? I was wondering how to find any info on him in the military. |

There is also an article about a Court case in 1878 which included evidence from an Asher Ralph, carpenter. Was this his father? |

All I can see on ancestry is the list of campaign medals or clasps he was entitled to - I'll PM the image as it tells you which areas he served. |
