My branch begins in a landing at Freemantle from London where he was born in 1904 with William Thomas Prout in 1923 who married a Florence Jean in 1925. They lived in Kalgoorlie. I lose track of them from around the late 1930's. It could be they had a son called a William David Caleb Prout when they seem to reappear in Mt Lawley in Perth from 1963. Florence died in 1971 with William Thomas following in 1974.

The W.A. Marriage found by Patchem is in 1931 according to the WA BMD page:

If this is him, there is a vast difference between your first post when we believed he had emigrated around 1900, and one who emigrated 1900 to 1920, (1923?) and was actually born after 1900.

1. Pele is my user name only, my name is Ernest Martin.
2. My UK Family line has some 6,000 people in the UK only. This particular line relates to my wife's family where her Uncle, William Prout emigrated to Perth Australia around the 1900 - 1920 era.
3. He seems to have married a nurse living in Kalgoorlie becoming a miner.
