any advice on where to go from hear i got cumbria research service to do a search on william morrison born 1765 /74 as in 1851 census it says born spaytree 1765 making him 85yr on 1841 census his age is 10yr out
cumbria report said they searched aspatria parish register 1760/80 all they found was 18may mary daughter of richard and sarah morrison
10sep 1775 william morrison son of thomas and amy barwick of aspatria [ morrison hear is just a middle name ]
also joseph 1753 to richard and sarah morrison they also searched surrounding parishes
gilcrux 1762/76
allhallows 1763/76
plumbland 1762/76 but there was no morrisons , they allso said william married late in life 1810 to elizabeth lamb thompson in chester le street and possably a marriage befor 1810 which i can not find from 1810 all the morrisons lived in chester le street , newcastle area on the baptism of his child to elizabeth in 1811 at chester le street it says husbandsman of chester , any help / advice would be great

how strange william morrison married elizabeth thompsonin 1776 at gateshead then william morrison married elizabeth thompson in 1810 at gateshead .. I wounder if they are of same morrisons and thompsons ... im more confused now ,!!

i forgot to say the witnesses to william and elizabeths marriage in 1810 were janet maddison and elizabeth linsley
