Nice one astra,I was drawn to that one but couldn't find his middle name.
The other thing being maybe first daughter Gertrude Iris named after her mum Gertrude Heelbeck.

Also if Audrey E married James Atkinson who died 1987 in Rotherham according to tree on Ancestry,Gertrude Iris 1912 married 1932 to Robert J Millar and had daughter 1932 who died in Rotherham 1982.

I still think the Greenfield marriage is the wrong one and must belong to another Audrey. So if Leslie knows that Audrey married David Greenfield then maybe she has just attached the wrong birth to the marriage!

Did you get the death certificate at all Leslie?

The newspaper report on the inquest outcome gave David Greenfield's age, address, occupation. If he had been very recently married then would that have been mentioned?

Was Sykes actually Audrey's maiden name?

Get a copy of the man's death cert...........stop speculating

just got a death cert of david and a coroner signed it I will now have to order the marriage cert to see if it the right david who married Audrey sykes and to see if the dad is Edwin thanks
