I think Thomas was still alive when Catherine died in 1940 (if I've got the right death) Civilian war deaths:

Catherine Lyons
Estimated Birth Year:abt 1869
Death Date:5 Sep 1940
Death Place:Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Age at Death:71
Spouse:T Lyons

She is recorded as wife (not widow) of T Lyons of 91 Hartup Street, she died at Stanley Hospital.

If the family thought he was older than he really was, this could be his catholic burial at Ford Cemetery:

Thomas Lyons
Birth Year:abt 1862
Age:79
Death Year:abt 1941
Burial Date:11 Jan 1941
Parish:Ford Cemetery, Lancashire, England

His address or place of death was St Joseph's Home.

Wish I knew this was a Catholic marriage last night.....but still could not see it in the index??

So Jacob the witness says Jacobo on the image is latin for James
