Just to show that the Minnie E Underwood who died in 1944 that Kath posted earlier was actually Minnie Edith, so not a typo for Minnie Frances.

He was discharged from the Royal Artillery in Nov 1908 aged 38 years and 3 months.5ft 8" Blue eyes, brown hair, fresh complexion. He was intending to live at 28 Chivalry Rd, Wandsworth Common.

He was a Battery Quarter Master Serjeant when he was discharged

AT one point his Next of kin is listed as father ' William Hoile H M S Warspite', but this has been crossed out and replaced by 'wife Frances with husband'.

The Warspite was a training vessel, William Hoile appears to have been on the staff there:

I think she is probably Minnie Frances (Nancy could be short for Frances):-
