I take it the Diana that replied was using a newer account to the one she started before her marriage?

Maybe she has forgotten about the tree with you and your parents in? as it is probably about 10 years old

Simple answer is yes you can, That is why accurate research requires documentary evidance to back up any info found.

You might just be a 'twig' on her tree - some people extend all branches as far as they can take them even if they aren't blood relatives. On that basis, she could be right in that she has 'no connection'

Try going back to her and give the names of your parents. Ask her to search her tree again as your name has come up on a tree search as being listed. As there is another female with your name but born in 1976, she might have made assumptions from a known fact.

If you have/had a partner, check if s/he is also listed - that might be the extended connection.

GR will remove the names of living relatives if you get no joy.

Is your mother alive?

If she is, you must remove her exact DOB from your post

Please read site guidelines................

The member's name is Diana not Diane.

If you search for Diana Heseldin on here, you will find 3 people called Diana with her in their trees - probably all the same person but with different membership numbers. Try contacting all of them. (Possibly one is entered under their married name)

Lots of reasons why your not getting a reply, Has your message been opened?

trees stay on GR unless the relavant member deletes it, most don't so when they leave or die or are unable for what ever reason to continue the tree stays
