Hi Thank you for your reply,
The lady in question is Maud Cecilia Dabin. BN 1878?? married in 1899 to a Arthur Cutler, died in 929 in Barking Essex. The stumbling block is that we cannot find her birth details, according to her marraige certificate she was born in Bristol her father is named and was deceased on her marraige. We also have certificates for her death in 1929 and have visited her grave in Barking Essex. She had 9 living children from 1900 to 1920. Her only daughter who is still living and is aged 98 yrs only knew her as Maud. The only birth for a Dabin born around 1878 that we can find is a Susan Jane born in Bristol. So could she have changed her name before her marraige. She was living away from family in Barking Essex at the time of her marraige, we dont know wether the address on the marraige certificate was a workhouse or a private property. We know she had a sister called Alice who married a Mullholland according to her daughter. Any help would be appreciated as we have been searching for over 6 years and keep coming back to this. :-)
