Charles born 1853 Bermondsey is with his parents in 1881 St Mary London. I would like to find out if he married please. Nothing shows for a Charles R P Bayliss but there is a possible on freebmd for a Charles Robert in 1887 Bethnal Green.
Could someone have a look and see if this is my guy ?
In 1881 Charles is shown as a carpenter and parents are George(brush maker) and Harriett.

I had a look for Charles Robert birth 1885 Hackney on freebmd with no luck . Looked under Bayliss,Griffith and Griffiths using both Charles and Charles Robert.

I had the same lack of success too, Ed.

Found baptisms for William, Frederick and Harriet but not the elder children.

Does the family show up in 1891/01 by chance?

On the 1911 census, it states that Charles and Charlotte have 5 children born and living. All 5 children appear to be on the census.......and yet, on the 1891 census, there appears to be two more daughters.... Minnie and Charlotte.

It is difficult to read Minnie's age on the 1891 census. 33 was written in and then crossed out.......it might possibly be 10?

It's extremely unlikely that Minnie and Charlotte would be registered in their biological father's name if Charlotte snr wasn't married to him.
