Hi guys, I'm just wondering if any of you could please have a look for a George Broadbent b 1868/ 1867 Bradford.

He had at least 2 sisters Ann(e) and Tizzy, ( Not sure on the correct name)
There are many Broadbents in Bradford so I'm not sure on any more information.

I know George married but the family tell me it was an Elizabeth Brown but I have a Sarah E (?) on the census as the childrens names match the ones I have so maybe the E is her middle name. So slightly confused on that also.

George Broadbent 1868 is my husbands GG Grandad.

Im looking for Georges father and mother and his siblings.

All I know is George 1868 married a Elizabeth Brown as I have been told today but on one of the census it says Sarah E Staffordshire
They had a son called George and he also has a son called George b 1912 ish.

You have put:

You need to have the birth certificates to make sure you are following the correct line, as you are aware that there are many George Broadbents in Bradford.

Just because someone says that sisters have certain names does not mean that you have the correct ones.

Believing what other people tell you can lead to confusion and incorrect information, and copying what other people have in their trees is no recipe for success.

I wholeheartedly agree with what Patchem says.

Hi Dawn, I think it's most likely that the information found is the right family but there appear to be some anomalies in your information that we need to sort out. For example, you say George had a son called George who, in turn, also had a son called George born 1912 ish.
