Jax, thank you for sending me the certificate, I appreciate it. I will now try and track down the informant to see if it is a relation. Thanks again. |

Thank you very much Jude, I got the image ok. I wonder if I could ask another favour. Mark snr died in 1921 at Schuylkill and I wonder if you would be able to send me the copy of his death entry. I saw it in the library yesterday on Ancestry but library staff couldn't get it to print. The informant was his son Robert and I think it said he was 78. Many thanks. Marian |

Could someone with Ancestry please look at the following - Pennsylvania & New Jersey, church and town records 1708-1985 for the following marriage details - Mark B Foster to Sarah R Jefferys (parents Mark and Isobel Foster) 1910. Thank you. |

Thanks mgnv, the census at the top is from FreeCen. I've found that site quite good in the past. |

For Northumberland & Durham, there's a v good chance of finding them on the 1861 census at http://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl |

Thank you very much Margee for the above. Is it off Family Search. I have found that Sarah remarried in 1867 to a William Latherton. Can you tell me where James was born. I am wondering if he went back to America, he married Eliza Thompson and they had a son Joseph. I can't find James anywhere in 1871 which is why I think they may have gone back to America. He was also a miner. I have Eliza and Joseph in 1871 but not James. Thank you again. |
