Mary Ann 6 Overseas British America

I am wondering if Michael stayed in America. Unfortunately, I don't know who Sarah's husband is. I am assuming he died in America as it says Sarah's status is W. I would think he was a miner as Tamaqua is a coal mining area. Thank you.

There's a Foster family arriving Philadelphia 28 Nov..1853. They consist of:

No husband with them. I presume he was already there? No Michael with them either. Already there with father?

Thank you very much Margee for the above. Is it off Family Search. I have found that Sarah remarried in 1867 to a William Latherton. Can you tell me where James was born. I am wondering if he went back to America, he married Eliza Thompson and they had a son Joseph. I can't find James anywhere in 1871 which is why I think they may have gone back to America. He was also a miner. I have Eliza and Joseph in 1871 but not James. Thank you again.

According to the 51 census James was born Newsham, Durham.

Can't find James returning to America, Still looking.

Thank you very much Jude, I got the image ok. I wonder if I could ask another favour. Mark snr died in 1921 at Schuylkill and I wonder if you would be able to send me the copy of his death entry. I saw it in the library yesterday on Ancestry but library staff couldn't get it to print. The informant was his son Robert and I think it said he was 78. Many thanks. Marian
