Peter....Not a "Common" RC christian/ surname so shouldnt be to difficult to research....(tongue in cheek)....some on the Church website for Dublin.... I will have root around see what I can find... |

Thank you Eringobragh1916, yes have William and James, and Catherine isn't on the 1871 census but working away as a servant and there was a a sister Mary born c. 1850 in Dublin and POSSIBLY a brother named Thomas, born c. 1848. |

Peter...I assume you also have the Baptisms of William/James 1852 St Nicholas Catherine 1855...Samuel and Rosanna were living New Row (Dublin) at the time.....I dont see the boys/Cath.on the 1871 Census above..... |

Welsh according to her Theresa's birth in County Durham (under the name Pinton) in 1858. |

Ah ok Jan, never thought of that, and no Patchem, I haven't but I know there is nothing else recorded as I did call the Archives for one but the suggested it wasn't worth the cost of printing of I had all of the informaiton already which was the date of the ceremony and the parties names only. |

Best I can guess would be Wexford, but there doesn't seem to be anything to back this up one way or the other. |

Yeah it is odd - I got the same result, but surely not the same, as I do have a marriage from 1847 in Dublin ... could the word be transcribed incorrectly from the original image? |
