If you have info for Dave, why don't you simply send him a PM?

I don't for one moment think that he has re-visited this thread....................

Yvonne Report 5 Apr 2014 17:08

Reggie, I don't think it has anything to do with lack of manners. Dave was mildly reproached by Dea for adding to my original thread so he probably took that on board and didn't check back. The point I was trying to make earlier was that my original thread had been taken over, even though it had been basically answered.

It's obvious, I would have thought, that Dave has not returned at all...................

Surely he would have had the manners to acknowledge the info, if he had?

A google search of John Treble Gosling brings up some queries, could perhaps be Dave.

I'm confused. Ricochet and Potty, why would you wonder where Dave is. I started this thread and it was answered back in Nov 2013 ... I should've marked it as ansered. Dave saw the Gosling reference and asked a question but was told that he shouldn't have asked that question on someone else's thread, so I guess he just went away. However, if he does get back I do have some info that might interest him.

As this is Dave's first post, maybe he doesn't know how to get back to his thread. Perhaps a PM to him would help?

It isn't usually a good idea to post your own request on another person's thread................starting one of your own is better.

Please remember to give dates and place names, to eliminate guesswork
