Find Ancestors

I'm researching my dads side of the family and it all seems to be one big mystery, i've got his mother & father and come to a brick wall.
My dads name is Brian Terrance Knight - Born 1941 (West Bromwich)
His dads name was Bernard Charles Knight possibly born 1916 & his mother's name is Maud Ruth Knight (Cooper) also born about 1916.
Would appreciate any help.

Have you got Bernard and Maud's marriage certificate for confirmation of any information found?

There are a couple of possibles for Alfred H. Knight on the 1911 census. The best thing would be to buy his marriage certificate which should name his father (if he is known).
